We are organizing adaptation and integration courses for you. The aim of these courses is to help you to quickly orient yourself in Czech society, obtain basic information and gain knowledge of your rights and obligations.

What is the adaptation and integration course and how does it work?

At the adaptation and integration course you will learn about your rights and obligations connected to your stay in the Czech Republic, with the fundamental values of the Czech society, with everyday life, culture and customs. You will also learn about organizations and institutions that provide free of charge advisory services to foreign nationals. The course takes 4 hours and is led by a qualified educator in Czech and translated into English, Arabic, French, Mongolian, Russian, Serbian, Spanish, Ukrainian and Vietnamese. The price of the course is CZK 1,500 in the case of public courses.

Who has to complete the course?

It is obligatory to participate in the adaptation and integration course for selected groups of foreigners from third countries. This applies to those, whose residence permit became effective 1st of January 2021. On the website of the Ministry of the Interior, you can find an exact list of foreign nationals to whom this obligation applies, including exceptions provided by law.

Who organizes the course?

The Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic authorized exclusively Centres for Support of Integration of Foreign Nationals to organize adaptation and integration courses. In Prague, these courses are provided by the Integration Center Prague
