Open Doors ICP – Saturday 16th March 2024
Integration Centre Prague is celebrating 12 years since its foundation, and on this occasion we decided to open the doors to our central office. On Saturday, March 16th, you can come over and get to know the ICP team from a different perspective. The whole event will take place on several floors of the office.
What can you expect?

- Our game card “IDENT i TY”which takes a closer look at integration
- SWAP of books- bring one, take away another!

When you arrive at ICP, our team members will welcome you and tell you a little about ICP and our services.
A book SWAP will take place in the counseling room: bring any book and exchange it for any other book.

1st floor:
11:00 – 17:00 – Easter is at the door, so we’ve prepared a spring arts workshop for kids and grownups, where you can make paper Easter decorations and greeting cards.
4th floor – green classroom:
11:00 – 13:00 – Self-defence course for women: our lecturer Justýna has prepared a two-hour course for women who want to learn the basics of self-defence. The class size is limited, so you need to register in advance:

13:30 – 15:30 – Living Library: come and learn more about the life and work stories of the Integration Centre Prague team. Just have a seat, ask questions and listen – or feel free to discuss.
16:30 – 17:30 – Theatre Club: our volunteers have formed a theatre group which will present an hour-long performance in English called “Kaleidoscope – A Tapestry of Lives”. The theatre performance will tell a story about what it’s like to be a foreigner living in a new country.
4th floor – blue classroom:
11:00 – 17:00 – Card game IDENTiTY: play the card game created by the Integration Centre Prague, aiming to check how you are with stereotypes and prejudices and also how you perceive yourself and people around you. You will be guided through the game by our lecturers who take the game to schools around Prague. The game starts at 11:00, 11:45, 12:30, 13:15, 14:00, 14:45, 15:30, 16:15.
6th floor:
13:00 – 13:30 – Guide to Czech literature with Matyáš.

15:30 – 18:30 – Embroidery workshop with Fatime: our volunteer Fatime comes from Egypt where she used to have her own shop selling hand embroidered clothes. She is striving to introduce this traditional art form in the Czech Republic through workshops. You will take home a small fashion accessory.
