Czech course for work
Information on courses:
- The course is meant for slightly advanced students, that want to improve their possibilities on the czech labor market
- We open the course twice a year
- The course is not intended for absolute begginers in Czech
- There is one Czech for work course per semester
- 15 students in a group
- The course is intended for students over 15 years old
- The course is designed for all students withou no regard to their language origin (mix of slavic and non-slavic language speakers)
- 40 teaching hours overall (40 x 45 minutes)
- 1 class = 2-4 teaching hours (2-4 x 45 minutes)
- 1-2 classes per week
- 10 weeks of teaching total
- The content of the course is a set of topics that will help clients in their job search, selection process and employment
- Teachers personal materials are used in the course (no textbook is needed)
- The in-class courses take place in Integration Center Prague classrooms at Žitná 51. Some courses can take place in other city districts. Online courses take place on the Zoom platform.
- Every course uses the Google classroom platform for sharing of the additional materials.
- The registration for the course only takes place through the online registration system (for more information and the closest registration term see below)
- You will find the timetable of the course in the registration system during the registration week
- Every student has to pay a motivational deposit of 2000Czk, that will be returned at the end of the course upon fulfilling at least 70% of the attendance.
- It is not possible to repeat the course.
- The classes are conducted in Czech
How to register?
Registration involves the following steps:

Online registration

Click the green button below to open an online system for registration into the Czech language courses
Fill out your personal data and take a placement exam to determine your Czech language level.
If you’ve already signed up into the system before, then just log in with your login details and take the exam.
Based on your score from the exam, the system will show you a schedule of courses corresponding to your level. Out of these, pick only one and sign up for it.
You may choose to enroll in a different course until 11:59 pm on the 15th of June. Further changes cannot be done on the day of the course lottery.

Lottery

The system will randomly select 15 participants and 10 alternate participants from the list of enrollees for each course.
You’ll see the results of the lottery in the registration system after logging in on the 18th of June 2025. The lottery results will only be available in the registration system, so don’t forget to log in on that day.
In case you will be drawn for the course, you will see the information for the payment of the motivational deposit in the registration system. We will also send you an email with an invitation to the in-person registration.
3.
Motivational deposit payment and in-person registration
Before starting the course, you’ll pay a 2 000 CZK motivational deposit.
If you’re selected for the course, the system will show payment details (account number and variable symbol) and the deadline for the motivational deposit payment. When paying the deposit, do not forget to fill in your unique variable symbol.
After receiving the motivational deposit to our account, you will see a confirmation in the registration system.
The motivational deposit will be returned to you if your attendance is at least 70%.
Enrolment in the course is sucessfully completed by verifying and checking your valid personal documents (biometric card, passport, etc.) at the in-person registration.
