Achievements of our volunteers
1. Organizing own events
In recent years, our foreign volunteers have organized a number of events (lectures, concerts, workshops, trips, etc.) during which they shared their life stories, the culture of their countries of origin, or their skills and knowledge. For example, the regular trips to Czech natural and cultural monuments, “Na výlet s ICP” (On a Trip with ICP), have been very successful, giving foreigners the opportunity to get to know the Czech Republic and make new friends.
As part of our volunteer work, we also organized several cultural activities in retirement homes (e.g., Chinese dance performances and screenings of Iraqi documentaries followed by discussions) in an effort to bring a little joy and distraction to the local residents.
2. Let’s Clean Up Czechia (Ukliďme Česko)
In recent years, we have repeatedly participated in the public-benefit eco-initiative Ukliďme Czechia (Let’s Clean Up Czechia) in cooperation with our volunteers, during which we cleaned up selected parts of the capital city of Prague with Czech and foreign volunteers. We are currently planning a series of other community activities (not only) with an eco-theme.
3. Assistance at events and festivals
Our volunteers help us at the events we organize and lend a hand at our festival stands. They often take high-quality photos and videos of the events we organize, which we use to create content for our social media channels.
4. Language clubs
One of the most popular volunteer activities are our regular language clubs, which are led by native speakers from among foreigners, and thanks to which participants can improve their language skills in the relevant language and at the same time meet new people from among Czechs and foreigners.

Only foreigners or Czechs living in the Czech Republic who are able to meet in person in Prague can become volunteers. If you are interested in becoming an ICP volunteer, please fill out our registration form and we will contact you with more information.
